Baden, Switzerland, August 14, 2019 – ABB, one of the leading suppliers of automation solutions for the newspaper industry, will be taking part once more at this year’s IFRA World Publishing Expo in Berlin. The focus will lie on ABB’s modular press retrofit solutions and its production management systems.

Our experts will be on hand to present our modular press control and drives retrofit solutions for newspaper presses from all leading manufacturers. These solutions give customers the opportunity to replace the controls or drives on selected press units, thereby freeing up spare parts for the rest of the press and minimizing the cost of keeping the presses in reliable production.

We will also explain our spare part strategy, which allows us to guarantee the availability of spare parts for at least 10 years after installation.

The latest versions of our suite of management systems that optimize the entire newspaper production process will also be presented.
